K.S.R. Burns (Joyce Stelzer) has been a professional writer since 1979. She is the author of sixteen novels, including The Vampire's Rose (1994), The Little Black Dress (1998), and The Guardian (2011). She has written over sixty short stories, including "The Road to Hell" for Black Mask magazine and "Blackout" for the anthology Dead@17: Stories for the Dead
